How did I miss this section?
Well, my name is Tessa. Yall can call me Tessa.
I'm a portrait/pencil artist. And As you may see in my gallery, I've progressed A LOT. Comments are always appreciated. They are what keep me motivated to draw. And I do love being able to draw people. It's awesome!
Tools:
Using Charcoal, graphite, color or mechanical pencil
Drawing History:
I'm 100 percent self-taught, so no, I took no classes
...I've been drawing for 6 years...
I taught myself by watching others draw online and also reading art books and loads of practice.
Inspiration:
Art isn't always capturing the beauty of what you see, it's seeing beauty in what was captured.
Technique:
Traditional drawing with hand held tool. Can take years to perfect. Takes a lot of patience, motivation and commitment. It's also good for relaxation.
Timing:
A portrait/drawing for me takes 2-3 weeks to complete.

Hey guys! I just got my brand new computer so hopefully I can be more regular here than Ive been in a while. I'm now a full time artist, eek! Imagine working for yourself inside such a volatile field. But Its what I love to do. Of course it wont be my only stream of income but it would be nice if it could be. You guys I know I haven't been posting regularly on here but I do try to draw all the time it's just taking me longer and longer to get posts out because of my job. But I know all of us are busy so you understand right? Let me know what you think about this one
